1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Chord Library (www.chord-library.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Chord Library is a free guitar chord reference providing interactive chord diagrams, audio playback, and a chord progression generator. Registered users can save chords and progressions to their account.
3. Account Registration
Account creation is handled through Google OAuth. By signing in, you authorize us to receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your account credentials.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the service content without permission
5. Intellectual Property
The chord diagrams, site design, code, and content of Chord Library are the property of the service operator. Chord voicing data is derived from community chord databases and is used in accordance with their respective licenses.
Your user-generated data (saved chords, progressions, and preferences) remains your property. You grant us a limited license to store and display this data solely to provide the service to you.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chord Library and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable EU law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at contact page.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Polish courts. If you are an EU consumer, you retain all rights afforded to you by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
