F#aug7 Ukulele Chord
F#aug7 voices F#, A#, D, and E into a tense dominant cluster, the raised fifth lending it a sharp, jazzy edge. Played up the neck, it shines in funk grooves and jazz turnarounds that crave an unstable, spicy V chord ready to resolve.

How to Play This Chord
Position your fingers on the fretboard as shown in the diagram. The vertical lines represent the four strings, from the top G string (left) to the A string (right), and the horizontal lines are the frets. Numbers inside the dots indicate which finger to use: 1 (index), 2 (middle), 3 (ring), 4 (pinky). An X means don't play that string; an O means play it open. A bar spanning multiple strings means one finger presses across all of them at once — this is known as a barre chord.
Tips & Tricks
Starting at base fret 2, place your index finger on the E string at the lowest fret, middle on the G string one fret up, ring on the C string, and pinky on the A string at the highest fret. The four-finger diagonal is the hurdle — build it from the index down and keep fingers arched so each string speaks.
