FaugMaj7 Ukulele Chord
Bright yet faintly anxious, this F major 7th with a raised fifth strings together F, A, C#, and E for a tense, glittering color. It shines as a sophisticated passing chord in jazz standards and brooding film cues.

How to Play This Chord
Position your fingers on the fretboard as shown in the diagram. The vertical lines represent the four strings, from the top G string (left) to the A string (right), and the horizontal lines are the frets. Numbers inside the dots indicate which finger to use: 1 (index), 2 (middle), 3 (ring), 4 (pinky). An X means don't play that string; an O means play it open. A bar spanning multiple strings means one finger presses across all of them at once — this is known as a barre chord.
Tips & Tricks
Anchor the index on the E string at fret 1, then build a diagonal: middle finger on the G string at fret 2, ring finger on the C string at fret 4, pinky on the A string at fret 4. The wide spread is demanding — spread the fingers from the knuckle and keep the wrist forward so the pinky can reach fret 4 cleanly.
