DaugMaj7 Ukulele Chord
Built up the neck on D, this raised-fifth major 7th carries a dreamy, off-balance tension from its notes D, F#, A#, and C#. It works beautifully as a suspenseful bridge between a major and a six chord in jazz and cinematic writing.

How to Play This Chord
Position your fingers on the fretboard as shown in the diagram. The vertical lines represent the four strings, from the top G string (left) to the A string (right), and the horizontal lines are the frets. Numbers inside the dots indicate which finger to use: 1 (index), 2 (middle), 3 (ring), 4 (pinky). An X means don't play that string; an O means play it open. A bar spanning multiple strings means one finger presses across all of them at once — this is known as a barre chord.
Tips & Tricks
Barre the C and E strings at fret 2 with your index, drop the middle finger onto the G string at fret 3, and stretch the ring finger to the A string at fret 4. Keep your thumb low behind the neck so the index barre stays firm and the inner strings stay clear.
