Daug7 Ukulele Chord
With D, F#, A#, and C ringing together, Daug7 delivers a bright but unsettled dominant sound thanks to its raised fifth. Reach for it in jazz, blues, and funk progressions where you want the V chord to crackle with tension before resolving.

How to Play This Chord
Position your fingers on the fretboard as shown in the diagram. The vertical lines represent the four strings, from the top G string (left) to the A string (right), and the horizontal lines are the frets. Numbers inside the dots indicate which finger to use: 1 (index), 2 (middle), 3 (ring), 4 (pinky). An X means don't play that string; an O means play it open. A bar spanning multiple strings means one finger presses across all of them at once — this is known as a barre chord.
Tips & Tricks
Use your index finger to barre the C and E strings at fret 2, then drop your middle finger on the G string at fret 3 and your ring finger on the A string at fret 3. Keep the barring index firm and flat — a common slip is letting the C string buzz, so press closer to the fret wire.
