Bm7♭5 Ukulele Chord
Spelled B, D, F and A, Bm7♭5 carries a tense, jazzy darkness that leans toward resolution rather than sitting still. It's the natural ii opening a B half-diminished ii-V-i and brings moody sophistication to standards, soul and cinematic moments.

How to Play This Chord
Position your fingers on the fretboard as shown in the diagram. The vertical lines represent the four strings, from the top G string (left) to the A string (right), and the horizontal lines are the frets. Numbers inside the dots indicate which finger to use: 1 (index), 2 (middle), 3 (ring), 4 (pinky). An X means don't play that string; an O means play it open. A bar spanning multiple strings means one finger presses across all of them at once — this is known as a barre chord.
Tips & Tricks
Put your index on the E string at fret 1, then add middle on the G string, ring on the C string and pinky on the A string, all at fret 2. The pinky on the outer A string is the weak link — press it firmly on its tip and keep the others arched so all four notes ring evenly.
