A#sus4 Ukulele Chord
A warm, suspended chord spelled A#, D# and F that hangs just short of resolving. Swapping the third for the fourth gives it a gentle pull toward A# major, a sound common in pop ballads, rock and folk progressions.

How to Play This Chord
Position your fingers on the fretboard as shown in the diagram. The vertical lines represent the four strings, from the top G string (left) to the A string (right), and the horizontal lines are the frets. Numbers inside the dots indicate which finger to use: 1 (index), 2 (middle), 3 (ring), 4 (pinky). An X means don't play that string; an O means play it open. A bar spanning multiple strings means one finger presses across all of them at once — this is known as a barre chord.
Tips & Tricks
Barre your index across the E and A strings at the first fret, then place your ring on the G string and your pinky on the C string, both at the third fret. The two upper fingers sitting above the small barre is the awkward part, so keep them arched and press the barre firmly so the bottom two strings stay clear.
